Vicky Rassokhina

Vіcky Rassokhina is a young Ukrainian artist from Kiev. She operates successful high-tech customer service projects daily, and found her off-job passion to watercolor in 2017.

Regularly exhibits at National Museum of Natural Sciences of Ukraine in the exhibition cycle “Museum exhibit: a close artist’s view”,

including National Ukrainian Exhibition of Botanical Art (2020).

Ukraine representative at Fabriano In Aquarello 2020.

Special Award winner 2018 and 2019 at MiniWatercolor Kiev international festival.

Ukraine representative at Urbino At Aquarello 2019.

Affected and inspired strongly with works of Ukrainian and European artists, got their skillful training support and shortly became a noteworthy animalistic painter with her recognizable realistic live-looking emotional animal portraits.

Vicky’s  artistic storytelling philosophy applies both to business and paintings:

Respect the Moment. You only have one short piece of paper to tell the whole Story. So think thoroughly on the story, not only the subject-  and use your one shot wisely. Paintings can be remarkable, but stories are what is remembered.

Vicky tends to experiment in techniques mixing, as well as her animal  “subjects” ignore any academic stereotypes, staying naturally alive in her paintings.

Young artist’s works and art-prints are in private collections in Ukraine, USA, Southern Korea, Switzerland, Greece, Finland and Georgia.
