An artist balances the scales of creativity and sanity like no one ever has. Rationality and madness blend gracefully to mould an artist like Rahul Chakraborty.

Rahul is an accomplished watercolorist who dared to glance towards the rising horizons of ingenuity. He was greeted by a colourful sight of endless possibilities and opportunities and thus decided to pursue the unthinkable.

Leaving the corporate world to pursue art was unheard of. But Rahul sought out the toughest choice, hoping for a brighter turn of events. His vigour and enthusiasm helped mould his personality substantially; thus helping him achieve what he always hoped for.

Recognition and fame did not come easy, but Rahul had his gaze held even higher. He wanted to quench his never ending thirst for creativity and thus went onto illustrate his artworks across the globes, contributing to the world of art at the same time.

His love for watercolours and the paintbrushes does not go unnoticed and is very much distinctive through the light brush strokes on the canvas. Visualizing himself as a student rather than a teacher, he stokes the flames of passion with a humble attitude.

Rahul is surely a fresh breath of motivation for the upcoming generation of artists and helps provide them with an imaginative outlook towards art. His position as a recurring contributor to art and an undeniably ingenious watercolorist is well deserved and surely well applauded for.

Rahul is a proud member of FabrianoInAcquarello, Italy. From co-owning an art company, Jumbish Pvt. Ltd to establishing his own art house, RahulOnkon, he leaves no stone upturned in his humble endeavours.

Rahul’s contributions to the realm of art include representing India at 14 International Watercolor Society exhibitions, conducting numerous art workshops and live demonstrations across the globe. The latest addition to this list will have to be the 2019’s knockout tour of Israel, named Cultural Mosaic. Currently, Rahul has completed his nine months México trip.
